jetlogic's new luxury service takes flight
In a world where taking one’s time has become a genuine luxury, the desire for more experiential journeys — where travellers can truly slow down and immerse themselves in the moment, without compromising on comfort, privacy or access — is burgeoning.
Our partner, jetlogic, is proud to introduce Scotland, Unhurried: Highlands, Islands & Hideaways. This is the first in a new series of luxury adventures that unlocks hidden gems, panoramic views, and exceptional stays unique to Scotland.
This bespoke service allows you to spend more time experiencing your adventures and less time navigating them. Instead of rushing to catch ferries or negotiate single-track Highland roads, jetlogic’s fleet of private aircraft will whisk you to the country’s most iconic landscapes and historic estates — all while revealing the country’s most staggering scenery from the skies.
Swapping winding roads for open skies, Scotland, Unhurried is the most seamless way to experience the best of Scotland, with each transfer an integral part of the experience.
Series one: Three distinctive Scottish escapes

The inaugural series of Scotland, Unhurried features three of Scotland’s most prestigious properties, all Luxury Scotland members: Prestonfield House, The Torridon, and Isle of Eriska.
This exclusive itinerary invites guests to spend two to three nights at each location, with helicopter transfers that provide both comfort and catharsis. The journey begins in Scotland’s capital: whether you fly commercial into Edinburgh Airport or land at a private airfield, a waiting chauffeur will soon transport you to the inimitable Prestonfield House.
Prestonfield House

Nestled in 20 acres of private parkland, Prestonfield House offers the privacy, seclusion and opulence of a country estate, just five minutes’ drive from Edinburgh’s Old Town.
Steeped in history, Prestonfield House was rebuilt in 1687 by Sir William Bruce, architect to the Crown. It has enjoyed an appropriately illustrious legacy ever since, hosting royalty, writers, and Hollywood icons across the centuries. And with just 18 rooms and 5 suites, it is among the country’s most exclusive luxury hotels.
Guests today can expect theatrical, maximalist grandeur. From the baroque Tapestry Room to the brooding character of the Leather Room, each public space feels fit for royal attendance. At Rhubarb, the estate’s signature restaurant, the menu revolves around seasonal menus which celebrate Scotland’s larder, including produce from the estate’s own rhubarb patch.
Romantic afternoon teas by a roaring fire and late-night drams in the Whisky Room are all part of the experience. Given its Edinburgh location, Prestonfield House conjures a remarkably serenity: the Highland cows and peacocks roaming the estate make civilisation feel far away.
On the next leg of your journey, you'll travel to The Torridon — and this time, civilisation truly is left behind.
Prestonfield House to The Torridon
Bidding Prestonfield goodbye, you'll find your private helicopter waiting on the hotel’s grounds — the only private helipad in the city. Rising into the sky, you can soak in birds-eye views of Edinburgh Castle, the iconic Forth Road Bridges and the endless stream of cars below, soon lost to view as you race over the landscape.
The journey is a carousel of epic scenes: the rolling hills of the Lowlands giving way to dramatic Highland peaks, Stirling Castle proudly perched atop its volcanic base. You’ll glide past the majestic Ben Nevis, sweep up the imposing valley of Glencoe and past the postcard-perfect Eilean Donan Castle.
At the head of a sea loch and at the foot of the Liathach mountain, The Torridon itself is the most spectacular scene of all.
The estate will be the luxurious base for your great escape. World-class mountain guiding lets you to conquer some of Scotland's most challenging and rewarding peaks with expert assistance. Boat tours provide a unique perspective of the rugged coastline from the sanctity of the loch. But there’s ample room to slow down, too — fly fishing on Loch Damph or stargazing beneath some of Scotland’s darkest skies.
At the heart of your stay is the culinary experience. Every dish at the hotel’s Michelin-starred 1887 Restaurant is a masterpiece. Using produce sourced from nearby estates and The Torridon’s own farm and kitchen garden, each menu tells a tale of the land and the lochs. A traditional Highland afternoon tea and curated tasting in the award-winning Whisky Bar — stocked with 365 classic and rare malts — is par for the course here at The Torridon.
Not ready to give up the seclusion and connection to nature? With your next stop at the only five-star Scottish hotel situated on its own private island, you needn’t worry...
The Torridon to the Isle of Eriska

As you take to the skies once more, it’s not matchbox buildings and streets that fly underfoot, but a vast wilderness. First, you’ll race west across Loch Torridon for a flyover of the breathtaking Isle of Skye. Marvel at the sheer cliffs of Kilt Rock, the drama of Old Man of Storr, and the ethereal Fairy Pools from your rare vantage.
The journey continues over the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, before approaching the atmospheric coastline of Loch Linnhe and, at last, the Isle of Eriska.
Arrival is nothing short of cinematic, the entire island at your feet. As you touch down, a world of refined Scottish hospitality awaits; one where luxury, nature, and exclusivity come together.
Isle of Eriska is an experience unto itself; a playground for the adventurous and a sanctuary for those seeking retreat. Guests can engage in field sports like clay shooting, archery, and falconry, or command the private waters aboard a sea kayak or private yacht charter. The island’s spa takes its lead for the beauty and tranquillity of the island — a place to refresh, regenerate, and release your inner wellbeing.
Dine in the sophisticated and refreshingly unpretentious Main House Restaurant, where the flavours of the local landscape are the stars of the show. Or take to The Deck, at the edge of the island, for informal small plates, cocktails, and panoramic views of rolling mountains, tranquil waters, and ethereal skies.
Return to Edinburgh
Following your private island sojourn, you’ll make your aerial return to the nation’s capital — but as you might expect from Scotland, Unhurried, we make sure to take the scenic route.
Heading due south, you’ll pass the historic ruins of Dunstaffnage Castle and the bustling harbour town of Oban, before striking back inland and over the remote forests, hills, and lochs of Argyll and the legendary shores of Loch Lomond.
Several of Scotland’s best-known landmarks, such as the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies, ease you back into civilisation before crossing back into the city.
