About the Hotel

With 40 charming bedrooms and suites, there is a wide choice of places to rest and recharge. The food is seasonal and locally sourced from the bountiful Perthshire larder and guests can enjoy fine dining in two restaurants or relax in the informal Barossa Bar. Alternatively, the terrace is a lovely place to sit and settle into this enchanting rural escape.

With more than 365 acres to play in, there’s an abundance of countryside activities to enjoy both on site and nearby, including kayak tours, paddle boarding, guided walks and salmon fishing. It’s also a golfers paradise, offering 27 holes of parkland golf spread over two courses, with some of the most spectacular views over the rolling Perthshire hills.

 

Accommodation
It offers 40 Rooms and Suites, with 26 located in the main house and 14 in the impressive Balvaird House, which is just a few yards away. Guests can choose from nine different room categories, from a beautiful Standard Room all the way up to the magnificent Miller Suite.

Restaurants
With rural Perthshire as its larder, the focus is on serving up the best, seasonal and locally produced food they can find. This ethos runs through both restaurants and bar.

Eòlas
Taken from the Scots Gaelic word for  ‘experience,' the focus is on providing guests with an unforgettable fine dining experience with a tasting menu. 

Cairns
A relaxed dining restaurant with a name that references the outstanding hillwalking location, it offers a mixture of cuisines and has a laid-back vibe. 

Barossa Bar
This elegant room is where guests will take afternoon tea, try out new creations in the Cocktail Bar and sample an extensive wine menu.
