Culinary triumphs at Knockinaam Lodge
Fresh from retaining a Michelin star at Condita in Edinburgh, Tyler King has been appointed Head Chef at Knockinaam Lodge’s three AA Rosette restaurant. One of King’s main focuses will be using ingredients from the land and coastline surrounding the hotel across his menus.
Off of the plate and into the glass! The hotel’s wine cellar has led to the award of both a California Star and a White Star by Star Wine List, recognising the quality and rarity of vintages, from both classic regions and exciting emerging producers. It’s an elite list: only 14 other UK hotels hold both awards.
Little's wins big – again
A huge congratulations to Little’s Chauffeur Drive who have been named UK Car Transfer Partner of the Year by Global Travel Collection UK! Since this award recognises transfer partners valued most by real travel advisors (voting is done entirely by advisors) this a particularly meaningful accolade for the team. Great job!
A royal reception for Dunnet Bay Distillers
The hype around Stannergill Distillery, operated by Dunnet Bay Distillers, hit new heights with an official opening by His Highness King Charles. The King toured the distillery, found in the old Castletown Mill, filled his own cask, met many of the staff and finally unveiled a plaque in the Atrium.
A trio of golds for Luxury Scotland members

Skye’s the limit for Kinloch Lodge
Another day, another accolade for Kinloch Lodge. The hotel has been included in The Telegraph Travel’s 'Best country house hotels in Britain', with Fiona Duncan commenting: ‘Remote and refined, Kinloch’s calmly luxurious rooms, local produce-focused restaurant and a ghillie for outdoor pursuits make this the ideal Skye bolthole.’ Time to bolt over to Skye?
