Cromlix

Cromlix is a five-star Victorian manse set in 34 acres of secluded grounds in beautiful Stirlingshire. It was converted by tennis champion, Sir Andy Murray, to recreate the glorious era of grand, country house living. It is now a 15-bedroom estate with a one-bedroom Gate Lodge, offering guests a thoroughly opulent stay. Its recent win as the 2019 Luxury Country House Hotel of the Year by the Scottish Hotel Awards, has firmly cemented its position as one of the top hotels in the region.

Come here to experience the decadent lifestyle once enjoyed by the Lairds of Cromlix.

Cromlix re-opened on 21st March after a complete interior refurbishment led by Kim Murray.

Each of the 10 bedrooms, 5 suites and one-bedroom gate lodge has its own individual design and character. Light spills into the rooms, which are all subtly decorated and enjoy splendid views over the manicured grounds or tennis court and surrounding countryside.

Dining

The Glasshouse restaurant is housed in a beautiful botanical glass-walled conservatory overlooking the gardens, offering diners a ringside view of the chefs at work in the extensive open kitchen. Discover the wild, authentic flavours of Scotland's landscape through locally sourced, thoughtfully prepared ingredients. From the brilliant service to the stylish setting, expect a dining experience which perfectly balances luxury and simplicity.

Embracing an elegant brasserie style service, the chefs use classic cooking methods, honed carefully over decades. Led by our Executive Head Chef, Darin Campbell, the vision is always to reveal the best of our seasonal Scottish bounty through every carefully curated menu.

Athletic pursuits include an onsite tennis court where tuition is available with prior arrangement, fishing on our house loch and billiards room.
