Wildlife Experiences at Inverlochy Castle
Inverlochy Castle is situated in Lochaber, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. Take advantage of the stunning location to experience some of the exciting experiences on offer.
Achnacarry Estate is home to an abundance of wildlife including red deer. Enjoy a wildlife tour to bring you close to wild deer and you may see Highland cattle, pine martens, wild boar, foxes, otters, rare species of butterflies or many other wild animals.
Tours are in small groups of up to 6 people in two 4x4 vehicles which are in radio contact with each other. Binoculars are provided for the tour, to enhance your chance of spotting more wildlife.

Please note that these activities are not based at the hotel and are provided by an external contractor. We strongly suggest booking these activities in advance to avoid disappointment.
Please bring the following for your tour:
- Waterproof/windproof clothing, sun cream and sturdy footwear
- Packed lunch for an outdoor picnic, depending on the weather
- Cameras, camcorders and lenses, preferably in padded bags
