Enjoy a Culinary Break in Royal Deeside

Calling all Foodies. Why not treat yourself to a gourmet night away in Royal Deeside with a One night Tasting Experience at Luxury Scotland’s newest Member, Douneside House.

After checking in, you can relax in the 17 acres of stunning gardens. Find a quiet spot to sit and relax by the stream, or lounge on the ‘infinity lawn’ at the front of the hotel, looking over the Aberdeenshire countryside and Grampian mountains.

Dinner is served in the 3 AA Rosette Library Restaurant. Intimate, atmospheric and limited to only 14 diners, it offers a unique dining experience. Surrounded by old books, antiques, an open fire and candlelit tables, the setting may feel reminiscent of a bygone era, however the Library’s Tasting Menu celebrates tradition with a twist. The award winning six course tasting menu is served with a classic wine flight, carefully curated by Sommelier James Payne, former winner of UK Sommelier of the Year.

The one night tasting experience offer includes accommodation and full Scottish breakfast and is based on double occupancy.

It is offered in all hotel rooms and the one bedroom apartments, subject to availability, with prices starting from £440 per room per night, based on two people sharing either a cosy double room or a (dog friendly) one bedroom apartment. Please note that the Library Restaurant is open from Wednesday – Saturday.
