These are always very popular events as they allow Head Chef, Chris, to showcase the talents of the kitchen with a 7 course tasting menu which is paired with some very fine wines.
The evening will commence with a drinks and canapés reception served in the lounge after which you will be shown through to our intimate, candlelit restaurant where dinner is served. Each wine will be introduced by our invited wine expert, and there will be an opportunity to meet the Chef and his team. For this event we are delighted to have Joseph Johnston, from the Tenuta San Leonardo Vineyard who will present his range of fantastic wines from the North of Italy. One of Italy’s most Iconic winerys, San Leonardo has been compared in terms of quality with the likes of Sassicaia.
Joseph lives in Trentino Alto Adige with his Italian wife and children. Of Irish and Scottish descent, his passion for wine runs in his blood, with family ties going back to the historic négocients of Bordeaux. Joseph has many years experience in the food & wine business, firstly in Belgium and subsequently in Italy where he also obtained a Masters in Wine Export Management from the Fondazione Edmund Mach.
Rates for the Wine Dinner are from £420, based on double occupancy and inclusive of the 7 course gourmet dinner and matching wines, full Scottish breakfast and vat.
