Luxury Scotland Newsletter – September 2017

luxury scotland book project
September sees the launch of our
Luxury Scotland Book Project.

Welcome to our Luxury Scotland newsletter for September 2017.
This month we have an excellent article entitled ‘A Literary Journey through Luxury Scotland‘. Written by Viv Devlin it uncovers and explains the many  literary links with Luxury Scotland hotels. As well as a very informative article, we have an interactive map featuring our hotels and their associated books.

From “The Lady of the Lake” to the popular Outlander series, romantic tales, fantasy adventures and stories rich in imagination and intrigue have always promoted tourism, enticing book lovers to follow their literary heroes and heroines from the story on the page to the reality of place.

Luxury Scotland’s literary links comprises 31 books and, to mark the 25th Anniversary of Luxury Scotland, we have assembled a little library of these 31 books which we will give away to the person who answers the following in the most creative way.

COMPETITION QUESTION:
“If you could sit down with any Scots writer, past or present and discuss a book with them, who would it be, where would you like to have the discussion and what book would you like to discuss?”

Send your answer to me at jeremy@luxscot.co.uk.

Wishing you an enjoyable September.

Whatever you decide to do during September – have an enjoyable summer.

Jeremy Hawkings, Chief Executive,
Luxury Scotland.
