The beautiful Cameron House Hotel in Loch Lomond announced a partnership with a top landscape photographer Colin Prior for an exhibition aiming to showcase the region’s stunning landscape.
The exhibition is part of the hotel’s refurbishment plans, it is named ‘Quinuituq’ (meaning deep patience) and it will run at the hotel until May 2017 and features 12 photographs from around Scotland, including some of Loch Lomond.
The phase two of the £4 million refurbishment will create a new outdoor terrace showcasing the breathtaking views across Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It is due to complete in May 2017.
Andy Roger, resort director said: “We have one of the most stunning views on our doorsteps, so it seemed only fitting to work with Colin Prior who is renowned for his stunning photography of Scotland’s landscapes. What better way to replace the view for the next two months while our refurbishment is underway.”
To generate awareness to the exhibition, Cameron House launched a social media campaign to give away one of the photographs via a competition across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Entrants must submit their best landscape pictures from across Scotland and share them with Cameron House using the hashtag #CHlandscapes.
Colin Prior himself will pick the winning entry on Friday 30 April.
