its purest form. It is certainly recognised as one of the finest natural
links courses in the country and through the years top professionals have
made their pilgrimage here, Hagen, Cotton, Norman and most recently Tom
Watson, all extolling the course's virtues.

Stepping on to Murcar's 1st tee and looking down towards the humps
and bumps of its neighbour, Royal Aberdeen, you might wonder what all
the fuss is - it's a birdie oppurtunity if ever there was one. The second
hole does little more to alarm but be prepared - these are two easy openers
