In the design and preparation of our menus our chefs can call on
locally grown vegetables to complement Scotland's finest fish, meat
and game - reflecting the truly Scottish nature of the hotel and
providing our guests with a real Connoisseurs experience.

Our Drawing Room
Bar and Lounge is famous for its collection of over 100 malt whiskies,
and a great selection of Cognacs and rare Brandies.

Situated off the
foyer the Drawing Room Bar has many original Scottish artists paintings
on display, as well as artefacts collected by the Spence family over the
years, including a collection of 140 cheese dishes collected from all
over the world.
The focal point
of the room is the baby grand piano which is festooned with photographs
of some of the many VIP's and celebrities who have visited and stayed
in the hotel since opening in 1993
With a real log
fire burning, everyone finds the Drawing Room a most relaxing venue, either
for morning coffee, afternoon tea or joining friends and colleagues for
drinks before and after lunch or dinner.
