Walking

Skye boasts some of the finest and breathtaking rambles in Europe. Kinloch Lodge will provide you with detailed maps for many walks throughout the stunning island and will advise on walks for all abilities.

Sea eagles, golden eagles, falcons, otters and red deer are just some of the wild life to be seen on the island.

Bays & Beaches

Skye has some of the most beautiful and secluded beaches on Scotland's West coast and Kinloch Lodge know where to find them!

Castles & Museums

Dunvegan Castle to the north of Skye offers seal boat trips and is close to Skye's stunning coral beach. The Clan Donald Centre in the South of Skye has a fascinating museum as well as an excellent restaurant and gift shop.

Whisky Distilleries

Tours and tastings can be arranged at the famous Talisker distillery.

Arts, Craft & Galleries

There is a wide range of art galleries and artist studios dotted across Skye.

Fishing & Stalking

With so many lochs and rivers and rivers on the island this is a fisherman's paradise. Kinloch Lodge can recommend experienced local ghillies for salmon and brown trout fishing. Stalking on the hills surrounding Kinloch can be arrange on request.

Boat trips

Choose from gentle cruises up Loch Coruisk or the excitement of fast boats around the island.

Golf

Skye has 2 superb golf courses only a short distance way from Kinloch Lodge.

Cycling & Mountain Biking

Skye is a ideal location for road and mountain biking. Kinloch Lodge can advise on hire and will arrange if required.
