The Colonel's House

The Weaver family built this attractive lodge, just beyond Greywalls' gates, in the late 1960s for Colonel Weaver's retirement. For those who enjoy the service that a hotel might offer but long for a little private space and informality it now offers very comfortable, roomy lodging for a single group of eight people. The house is light and spacious and is furnished to the same high standard as Greywalls. It has a charming drawing room with French windows opening on to a private garden and terrace.

There is also a small, cosy study where the housekeeper will set out a drinks tray if you wish. The four good-sized bedrooms are comfortably furnished and each has its own bathroom. The housekeeper provides breakfast in the house each morning and can provide a menu for a set meal at The Colonel’s House if arranged in advance.

Whether you are visiting East Lothian for a family gathering, a small business get together or a golfing holiday with friends the Colonel's House will let you enjoy the delights of Greywalls and the space and freedom of a private home.

Colonel's House / Guide Price only - £950 per night for the whole house for a maximum of 8, inclusive of Scottish Breakfast and VAT.
