Activities

Nearby,
sandy beaches, beautiful and so often deserted, are a real delight
for visitors to Greywalls.
The glorious scenery of East Lothian
with its ancient castles, abbeys, stately homes and picturesque
fishing villages are just a short drive away along peaceful, winding
country lanes.

Golf
is perhaps the most popular activity for guests at Greywalls. But
there are many activities which can be enjoyed by our guests and
visitors.
As well as tennis
and putting within the grounds, Greywalls location makes it ideal for walking,
cycling and birdwatching. The Bass Rock with its famous gannet colonies
and the award winning Scottish seabird Centre at North Berwick are easily
accessible.
The arrival of Concorde
at the Museum of Flight in East Fortune has made it a 'must see' attraction
for many of our guests. Microlight flights are also bookable at the small
East Fortune Airport.
The beaches and cliff
top walks of East Lothian provide a wonderful way to explore some of Scotland's
east coast countryside.
“Greywalls is not a Jacuzzi, ayurvedic pedicure and conference suite zone. Rather, a unique, well-oiled institution of enormous character run by real people not company robots. You sense their care and you'll appreciate its charmingly non-corporate modus operandi - calm, personable, discreet, very special, yet free from stuffiness and pretension.”
