~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~Day 1Arrive at Glasgow Airport and transfer with Little’s Chauffeur Drive to Cameron House where you will stay for two nights. In the afternoon play The Wee Demon course before dinner in The Boat House. Day 2The following day, you are ready to play the Carrick, on the shores of Loch Lomond and you will, very probably find yourself speechless. Dinner that evening is taken in The Cameron Grill. Day 3Transfer to Turnberry, A Luxury Collection Resort, just 90 minutes by car where you will stay for two nights. In the afternoon play The Ailsa [host to no less than four Open Championships] and dine that evening in 1906, the main restaurant of the hotel. Day 4After breakfast, attend the Colin Montgomerie Golf Academy before playing The 9 hole Arran Academy Course with one of the Turnberry Professionals. Dinner that evening will be taken in The James Millar Room, a fine dining experience in an intimate yet contemporary dining room adjacent to the 1906 restaurant, or in 1906. Day 5Transfer to Knockinaam Lodge where you will stay for two nights. You have a choice of 32 golf courses in Dumfries and Galloway. We have chosen Stranraer Golf Club with its James Braid course and you will play there in the afternoon. Dinner is taken in the Michelin starred restaurant in the hotel. Day 6Today you can either play the Dunskey 18 hole course at Portpatrick or take a short drive through the beautiful Border countryside to Drumlanrig Castle the seat of the Dukes of Buccleuch and Queensberry. On your return to the hotel dinner is taken in the restaurant. Day 7No golf today as there is travelling to do. Your chauffeur will take you to the ferry at Stranraer to Larne [3 hours] and then a short drive to Newforge House where you will stay for two nights. Day 8 After breakfast you will play the renowned par 71 golf course at Edenmore. Day 9Travel to Ballycastle in Co. Mayo and stay at the beautiful Stella Maris Hotel for two nights, a converted coastguard station and now a cosy country house hotel. Your host, Terrence McSweeney is a golf expert and will help in arranging for you to play on some of the finest links courses. Day 10You will be playing at Carne Golf Club, close by Stella Maris and Enniscrone Golf Club, both monumental links courses- which will hone your golfing skills. Day 11You will transfer to the most northern part of the country and stay at Rathmullan House, near Letterkenny in Co. Donegal for two nights. This is a wonderful base and your hosts, The Wheelers, are used to looking after golfers and you can leave your clubs in a special ‘dry room’ so that they will be ready for action for the following morning. Day12You will want to play at Port Salon and Ballyliffin Golf Club. Overnight Rathmullan House Day 13A short drive will take you to Royal Portrush Golf Club. Many golfers have portrayed Royal Portrush Golf Club Dunluce Links as one of the most challenging in the world. It is consistently ranked in the Top Ten courses in the world. Overnight in The Bushmills Inn on the coast of Co. Antrim where you will find special walk in wardrobes for golf equipment. Ardtara Country House is also conveniently located to Royal Portrush.
