Activities
At
Inverlochy Castle we have an outdoor tennis court, a walled garden and 50 acres
of garden and ground. Other facilities in the Castle include a Library and Billiard
Room. In Fort William, approximately three miles away, there is a Leisure Centre
with swimming pool, etc. We can also arrange horse riding/pony trekking, clay
pigeon shooting, falconry and a host of other acitivties at a nearby water park.

Archery, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Abseiling, Mountain Biking, Tomahawk Throwing,
Canadian Canoes, Kayaking and Motor Boat Hire all at a nearby Water Park.
Shopping
There are no shopping facilities
in Inverlochy Castle, however a variety of shops and Woollen Mills can be found
in Fort William..
Dining
Dinner
is an experience to savour in any of our three dining rooms, each decorated with
period and elaborate furniture presented as gifts to Inverlochy from the King
of Norway. The menu features modern British cuisine which is internationally recognised
by all major guides including a Michelin Award. At Inverlochy our chef uses the
finest local ingredients including scallops from the Isle of Skye, handpicked
wild mushrooms and local game..
Transport
Inverlochy Castle can provide
transfers either in a Jeep or Rolls Royce from Inverness Airport, Glasgow Airport,
Edinburgh Airport or our local railway station at Fort William. We can also arrange
to hire a vehicle for the duration of your stay. Our major road is the A82.
Entertainment
A young family might wish
to visit the local leisure centre, take a trip on the Gondola up Aonach More (next
to Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain). Hire some mountain bikes for the day.
Ride on the Steam Train to Mallaig past the famous Glenfinnan viaduct(featured
in Harry Potter film The Philosopher's Stone).
The
retired couple may also wish to take the Steam Train to Mallaig,visit Fort William
Museum, Ben Nevis Distillery, take an afternoon sail to Seal Island, visit Glenfinnan
Monument and visitor centre or simply relax in the Castle grounds taking in the
magnificent scenery and air.
The
Group of Business People may wish to tour Ben Nevis Distillery, visit Treasure
of the Earth, have a round of golf at Fort William Golf Course, join in with the
Falconry Display/Clay Pigeon Shoot in the grounds of the Castle.

Reservations & Cancellations
At point of booking we
require a credit card to guarantee the booking for all Europeans and a one night's
deposit for all non-Europeans. Our policy with Travel Agents is a one night's
deposit with the balance deducted 60 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation
Policy -
Confirmed reservations cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date
are liable to be charged for unless all the accommodation is re-let to other clients.
In all cases of cancellation there is a handling charge of £25.00 on returned
deposits. We recommend that the guest covers themselves with travel indemnity.
