Golf
Scotland's
long tradition as the home of Golf is nowhere more evident than
Nairn, which has been described as the Golfing Mecca of the Highlands
boasting two fine link courses, the Championship course itself
and the excellent Dunbar Golf Club. Should you be weary of these
two courses, there are over 30 more within an hour's drive of
Boath House Hotel & Spa - not least Royal Dornoch in Sutherland.
Leisure
Activities
Nairn is
a delightful Victorian seaside resort where you can walk for hours
along the town's beautiful sandy beaches in search for dolphins
and seals offshore. Within the hotel grounds, the hotel is surrounded
by 20 acres of lawns, woodland and streams, home to swans, wild
geese and ducks. There is a 2 acre loch stocked with brown and
rainbow trout rising on a summers evening to take the nymphets
hatching from the many specimen trees surrounding it.Well-kept
paths tempt you to explore secluded seating areas or sunny terraces,
where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a morning coffee.
Sight Seeing / Attractions
In the scenic
countryside around the town itself you will find the natural wonderland
of Culbin Forest and a host of historic treasures. Some of Scotland's
finest Castles and Country Houses are a short drive through spectacular
Highland scenery.
Shopping
A wide range
of shops is available in Nairn, just 10 minutes away. In addition,
Johnson of Elgin has fine cashmere knitwear, accessories and home
furnishings.

Boath House
has established an excellent reputation for cuisine and has been
awarded three AA Rosettes for the past four years. The restaurant
is considered one of the top 10 restaurants in Scotland. The restaurant
seats 28 people with disabled facilities and access.
Transport
Boath House
is situated on the A96 just to the West of Auldearn, which is

Arrivals & Departures
Rooms are
not usually available to guests before 2:00 pm on the day of arrival,
but you are very welcome at any time and make use of the restaurant
and garden. We ask that guests vacate their rooms by 11:30 am
on the day of departure but, again, you are welcome to use the
hotel facilities for the rest of the day.
Reservations & Cancellations
Due to our
limited number of rooms it is necessary to impose cancellation
charges. Cancellations must be confirmed and a 10% cancellation
fee will be charged. If less than 7 days notice is given and we
are unable to re-let the accommodation or restaurant tables then
the reservation costs will be due in their entirety for all or
any days which were not re-let.
Dress Codes
We would
prefer that guests did not wear jeans and trainers in the Restaurant
in the evenings, but otherwise we want you to be comfortable and
relaxed when you are staying with us. We encourage a smart casual
dress code.
Facilities
for the Disabled
We have one
ground floor cottage that is designed to be suitable for disabled
use and includes a bath lift if required. The Restaurant is on
the ground floor and accessible for wheelchairs, though not specifically
designed for them. Please let us know when booking, of any disability
so we can ensure you have a comfortable stay.
