FRANCES MACDONALD

Frances Macdonald (aka Frances Ryan) regularly holds major shows at London's Portland Gallery and in Scotland. Her next Scottish show is at the Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh, February 2009.

Frances Macdonald's forthcoming 2008 exhibition will be her largest to date, featuring seventy paintings inspired by views of Iona, Tiree and Mull. Images of the new paintings will be available for viewing on the Portland Gallery website in January 2008.

Paintings by Frances Macdonald are in several important private collections at home and abroad as well as corporate collections including Fleming's Scottish Collection. When not painting, she helps run the Crinan Hotel masquerading under the name Ryan.

A professional painter for more than 20 years Frances has exhibited regularly throughout Scotland and London and abroad.
