Business
Facilities: The Royal Scotsman carriages are Edwardian in
style, luxuriously appointed and can be privately chartered for
up to 36 passengers making it a memorable way to do business or
to reward exceptional performance. The 'Raven' car can be laid
out boardroom style sitting 20 delegates for business meetings
or a formal dinner and the Observation Car can be used for smaller
break out / networking sessions. Standard business equipment (e.g.
overhead projectors, screens, flip charts) can be hired in. The
Royal Scotsman experience is extremely social so provides an interesting
team building experience. The time spent travelling between destinations
allows for maximum leisure and business time (e.g. meetings on
the move and leisure when you arrive). It offers a captive audience
for business forums and the facility to tailor make the journey
maximises both business and leisure needs.
Itineraries
range from one to seven nights and prices are fully inclusive
of all meals, drinks and off train activities which means that
there are no unforeseen costs to account for at the end of the
trip/event.
Exclusive
charters can be personalised according to the group's requirements
from the destination, length of journey (day sector or overnight)
and customised menus to gifts to commemorate the experience.
Dining: Traditional Scottish fare can be enjoyed in one of the two
dining cars or guests can unwind in their en-suite State Cabin,
beautifully fitted out in rich woods and inlaid marquetry. The
accent is on local Scottish produce - often from areas where the
train is travelling - local mussels, fresh from the mussel beds!
Team
bonding/relaxation: Off train activities such as golf, whisky
tasting, fishing, falconry and clay pigeon shooting can all be
arranged as well as visits to private Highland estates, local
heritage sites or even traditional ceilidhs or Highland Games.
Activities
can be mixed and matched to ensure everyone in the group is catered
with different programmes for business delegates and their partners
who have more leisure time to fill.
