For the restful and less active amongst us, the Gardens at Boath House are a delight and help to enhance the overall feeling of tranquillity and relaxation at the Hotel. The Gardens have been lovingly restored in recent years. The Hotel is surrounded by 20 acres of lawns, woodland and streams, home to swans, wild geese and ducks.

There is a 2 acre loch stocked with brown and rainbow trout rising on a summers evening to take the nymphets hatching from the many specimen trees surrounding it.

Well-kept paths tempt you to explore secluded seating areas or sunny terraces, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a morning coffee.

For the more adventurous, the Highlands and the Grampians are full of walks, fishing, cycling and delightful roads, perfect for a days drive. Castles, distilleries, historic houses and some spectacular scenery are all within easy reach.
