String Quartet.

An
internationally acclaimed group of classical musicians the Quartet has performed
around the world and has championed many Scottish works including a new anthology
of Scottish chamber music. The
first of a project to record much of Scotland's chamber music heritage - with
four string quartets from three centuries. Includes
the first recordings of the String Quartet in A by the Earl
of Kelly (c 1765), J B McEwen's Biscay Quartet (1913) and Thomas Wilson's Quartet No 4 (1978),
and the first modern, professional performance of Alexander Mackenzie's String Quartet in G (1868). With
