In the early part
of the summer, Scotland is host to a wide range of events covering a broad
spectrum of interests from premier golfing events such as the Open Golf
Championship in St Andrews to the less publicised Galloway Classic. Many
of Scotland's traditional sports such as tossing the caber and Highland
dancing can be seen at the Highland shows which take place across the
country. |
At the farmers markets
and food festivals, our gourmet travellers can enjoy sampling some of
the local produce - many of which are in season for a short time. And
